Iran and Persian Gulf's States have been traditional business partners for a long time. Iranians were among the first group setting up the business in U.A.E. The oil boom and development of shipping facilities to Iran created further opportunities for maximizing the trade between two countries.
The creation of trade and business environment facilitates a better understanding for some prominent Iranian business men / women to form a platform for fostering relationships between the two countries, Iran and U.A.E.
This initiated the idea of establishing a non-political / non -profit organization in 1992, "Iran Business Council".
The founding members regulated the function of chambers of Commerce in 1996. It officially functions as the body of the Iranian Business Community in U.A.E.
